OPEN DAYS: "Growing Together" EU Regions and Cities put the theory into practice with investment plans for 2014-2020

The debate is a follow-up to a 2013 Open Days workshop on how to make best use of the new instruments (Integrated
Territorial Investments and Community Lead Local Development) in the context of cooperation.
This year the debate format is more appropriate to mirror an EGTC willing to implement an ITI/JAP with national authorities
reluctant to do so and an EGTC where the national authorities support such plans.
Beyond these four panellists one or two representatives of DG REGIO would give his/her views on how Member State
authorities should address the use of the legal instrument EGTC for the implementation of ITI/JAP, one focusing on the new
legal framework for EGTC's; the other focussing on the programme implementation side.

- Authorities managing and evaluating cohesion policy programmes and projects

Assemblea solenne GECT GO per la presentazione dei progetti finanziati

Il Programma di cooperazione transfrontaliera Italia-Slovenia ha approvato per il GECT GO, Gruppo europeo di cooperazione territoriale di Gorizia, Nova Gorica e Šempeter-Vrtojba, una dotazione finanziaria di 10 milioni di euro per la programmazione 2014-2020. Si tratta di un passo storico per la collaborazione delle nostre tre citta', che ci consentirà di avere i fondi necessari per un nuovo rilancio dei comuni transfrontalieri.
Durante l'Assemblea solenne del GECT GO, tenutasi martedì 30 settembre alle ore 12.30 nell'Aula magna del Comune città di Nova Gorica, sono stati presentati nel dettaglio i progetti finanziati. All'Assemblea è seguito un breve incontro con i media per la presentazione dei fondi previsti per il GECT GO, che diverrà organismo intermedio tramite il meccanismo degli Investimenti territoriali Integrati nel periodo 2014-2020.
